Looks like that roof will hold any amount of snow that Mother Nature wants to dump on it

    Looking awesome & well constructed

I tied mine together with the metal hurricane straps too.
Shingles will work great, snow don't slide off & block access.

Kids around as helpers make some jobs take longer, but gotta love their
great desire to learn & ask questions :)

    FYI
Some of the pallets I used have to much space between the boards, me & grand kids have
tripped by stepping in the space.
Changing mine out or adding boards to eliminate the trip/ankle sprain hazards

Looks great. Better get some wood in it before someone moves in.

As that famous saying goes… "If a man says he's going to do it… he will. No need to remind him every 6 months about it"…

The story of my life. Long line of wannado projects chasin' me round the yard too…

Nice build Dave. Sturdy, and looks good too.
Was it easier for you to use purlins instead of building more rafters?
Mine's about 1/2" out of square and made it slightly interesting putting on the roof sheathing.

I understand. I am still working on the kitchen and I started on that before I started on the woodshed. It all takes time.
