Got some good news this morning at doctor's office. The spot where I had surgery a year ago has been giving me lots of pain off and on but the CT-scan says there should be no big problems. We were worried about the liver but it shows to be okay. What a huge relief for my wife!

An amazing and simultaneously sad yet uplifting story Casper ....
I’m sure that lady is thankful for your and everybody else’s help, and I for one appreciate the humanity you displayed. I feel that most of FHC would have done the same thing. It’s probably that very reason why so many excellent and real people have come to this site.
The inherent will to be kind and be in the company of like minded individuals.
Your efforts will not go unnoticed.
May the Lord bless you and yours.

Rats. Did you take it to the jewelry store and ask them what the cause could be?

Lots of work getting the limbs cut up on that tree I'm working on. Big one is 18-19" wide. Trunk probably 24" wide. I'm guessing a cord and a half all said and done. We shall see.

I'm glad your liver is fine, but I hope you can get over what's causing the pain!

Thanks schlot :) I called since I don't make it to town often. I'm supposed to go get an adjustable clasp installed for my frequently changing ring sizes, they said to talk to " one of the jewelers" when I come in. I'll be interested in what they say and bummed out if it's from poor quality gold for what it cost. No black yet from my old pearl ring on right hand :sherlock:
