It’s a bit warm down here today!

76* inside. Luckily it’s been cool overnight’s so the house has not gotten to hot yet.

I haven’t had the fire lit for a while now.

33F & temps going up overnight.:loco:  Was a nice day though, some sun & 48, felt like Spring. Loaded a little Oak in the boiler to keep it going overnight. Rain & warm tomorrow & Friday, then 30's & 20's. It ain't gonna freeze up anytime soon I don't think.

It ended up hitting 103F in the afternoon, it’s a much gooder temp of 73F right now at 10:30pm and I’m out in my new pole barn doing some work I wanted to start earlier but delayed due to the heat!

I've been reading about your heat wave! How are temps in the shed, do you have enough air flow to make it tolerable?

Yes it’s pretty good in the shed the high roof and the big doors help a lot by letting the heat out it stays pretty much at ambient with the doors open but if I close them it turns in to an oven really quick.

19 feels like 11 and headed for 29 today. 77 inside and I just reloaded with mixed KD hardwood. Snow changing to rain tomorrow, so another big mess on the way. It’ll be warmer but I wish it would be either snow or rain, tired of the wet heavy stuff.

-11, I'll take some of that. I would halfway zip my coat then. It's been teens and twenties boring here. Let's make some real ice on the lakes.

Right around freezing now.....the snow that fell is that dang heavy sticky heart attack stuff. Drove through it for almost 6 hours already today. Came back to clean up the driveway before the temps (drop and freeze) and broke the shovel handle just pushing the water laden snow out of the driveway!!! Luckily, it is repairable and I do have a spare shovel.....
