    I still have to delve into this thread, but I wanted my SS recipient to know that his gift is in the mail, and I'm hoping it got there today but it might not til tomorrow.

    Well, HALF of his gift is in the mail. The other half, he will have to work with me so I can finish it for him. I can promise it will be worth the effort.......

    I'm getting ready to open my gift right now. Stay tuned......

    And TurboDiesel, I wasn't your SS. I was very humbled to be included in the delivery and participate in it, but it's all on someone else. One heck of a good guy, too.......

    I finally got around to opening mine up, too. It's an awesome, handmade knife sharpening set, in a chunk of live-edge cherry! Two different angled sets of crock sticks (one set at 15° and one set at 20°), along with a detailed set of user instructions and Japanese kitchen knife that is RAZOR SHARP! Thank you very much, Secret Santa...I'll certainly put this stuff to use!!

    Though I did not participate in the Secret Santa exchange this year, I did receive a firewood boarding gift. My FIL bought me a timber jack. My chains will appreciate as sometimes I'm unable to roll a log by hand to finish a cut. Now I dont have to :thumbs:
