Carb Limiters on A Husqy 55 ??

I didn't know these had them on there.
Looks like I can cut the little wings/tabs off .
Is that the way to do it ???

 

Yes. Use a brand new razor knife and make a few cuts to get it. All off. I like to cut them off rather than Pulling them all the way off.

You don't have to put em back on when you do it that way, do ya?

 

I recently pulled the caps off my 350. There are slots on the ends of the metal needles, but the slots are small and difficult to find with a screwdriver through the plastic cover. It might be better to just trim off the wings.

Thats what I like doing. I use the orange Stihl carburetor screwdriver and it fits perfect in the plastic covers.

 

I dont care to drink alone but do not mind working alone.

 

Nice. If i could play the guitar Id want to play that style.
