Carb Limiters on A Husqy 55 ??

    I didn't know these had them on there.
    Looks like I can cut the little wings/tabs off .
    Is that the way to do it ???

    Yes. Use a brand new razor knife and make a few cuts to get it. All off. I like to cut them off rather than Pulling them all the way off. :)

    I just did a buddy's 450 and used a drywall screw they popped right out no problem.

    This one had slotted screw heads behind the caps but I don't know if all of them do.

    I recently pulled the caps off my 350. There are slots on the ends of the metal needles, but the slots are small and difficult to find with a screwdriver through the plastic cover. It might be better to just trim off the wings.

    I like the spline deals on the 445,with the tool they work great

    Thats what I like doing. I use the orange Stihl carburetor screwdriver and it fits perfect in the plastic covers. :)
