So, I picked this up recently to hang in the wood shed. It got me to wondering what other folks may have as far as "wood signs."
I have a large Cadillac sign (from a dealer, aparently) that is on the back wall of my storage. It was there when I bought this place. Can't attached a photo, as it is covered with firewood right now When I fill my shed, I know I have enough wood if I reach the second "a" in Cadillac. The remaining room is used for garden tool storage.
I couldn't resist including a pic of the other sign in our woodshed. It is completely unrelated to anything wood. But, it is in the shed, so... This one actually belongs to my son, 12 y.o. now (unfortunately going on 25...). He has always been a great teller of the "tall tail." He get's it from his mother's side of the family tree . Anyway, my father-in-law, wife's uncle, and one of my brother-in-law's have cattle together. When my son was 3 or 4, he came up with a story (allegedly a dream) about a flipping bull. Somewhere in her travels, my mother-in-law came upon this sign and gave it to him. Maybe not a flipping bull, but pretty close.
I got signs in my garage but nothing firewood related. always on the lookout for cool old signs though or remakes. Theres some cool Stihl sign knock offs on Ebay.
those are some really nice bucks you have hanging there, especially the one on the door, if you shot that one, i'd be out there looking for his brother.
4ft Stihl sign on ebay...Pretty cool. Not looking to drop a couple hundred bucks though. These ones are around $50... Maybe someday I'll buy one.
Didn't someone here have an old 2 man cross cut saw with FHC sticker on it hanging over their wood shed???
