It is nice. I really pine for the times when my wife was out there helping but sadly, age takes its toll on females too. In addition, my youngest son just turned 54! And we have 2 sons with the closest one living 650 miles away. One might say that wood cutting has changed a lot around here. But for sure the last few years our GTG has proved to be a huge help and it is fun too.

Isn't that the truth. Mine just turned 40 this year, we have been married half her life. I can only imagine how much wood cutting over your career has changed. I have been showing mom some dump trucks and firewood processors. Get here used to the idea of what we will need someday. I would like a 350-550 flat dump, use the tractor to load up, and a small processor.

It has changed for sure. I was thinking about that today as I was getting logs out with the tractor. My wife did come back once. She was on her daily walk and I called her on the 2-way radio as I knew she was about to walk. I needed the log tongs which were by the barn and she brought them back to me. Nice.
