And, if you live in the PNW, you know what i mean. We are FINALLY really getting some real rain, and even some wind!! I've been complaining about needing more rain every since our first little teaser storm. Now,starting yesterday she's flat coming down! So far though the wind hasn't really been a factor,it blew a little last week and dropped a few tree's but, nothing like it has in the past years. The bad thing, the snow level is way up there, and with this mild of a winter and not much snow fall, this rain will melt a lot of the snow. But, I'm enjoying this rain, we really need it.
I would have been more than happy to give you some of the rain we had in PA this year if I could have. There's still water laying in spots all over the place. The ground is nothing but mud, mud and more mud
I'm really hoping for both no rain and no snow for a while. It is nice working in the woods right now without that crap.
I heard you guys in PA got a lot of rain, today we got a bunch, it was bouncing off the pavement about 4'' and coming down hard. Yesterday when i heard it was supposed to rain pretty hard today, i blew all the leaves out of our street gutters, blew all the drain's out on the corners and then blew the leaves so i could pick them up as well. The city does a pretty good job of running the street sweeper here in town, but, i'd rather do our street from the 4 way to one of the main cross streets myself. I've got a older BR420 Stihl backpack blower and i'm thinking seriously about buying a new BR700 . That might be my Christmas present to myself, i'm guessing if i wrapped it up and put my wife's name on it, i might be doing more than just wearing it on my back, more likely on my head.
I think it was in 2017 it was so dry up here our darn well went dry. Allot of people were having problems.
I'm just fine without wind. Too many big firs on the neighbor's property! We do need rain, just hope it's not all at once. There's a lake behind my house and I drive by the boat launch a few times a week. Judging by the water level at the launch, the lake is still about a foot lower than normal.
