Laid in the snow, swapped out one of the fuel tanks on plow truck(79 k20),rusty mess. But,was 45,60% sun,and zero wind,a great day to do it.Switching valve and switch even work, after not being used for 10 years or more.

Got more work done on the shell crusher today....

Found some leftovers in the shop and decided to re-purpose them.

A 10 inch aluminum channel was perfect.

Tomorrow is the day I give notice after not having done so in 39 years, hence the reason I am still awake.
One of the owners came by tonight and sealed the deal should be an interesting day tomorrow, hopefully the owner of Consigli will not be there tomorrow but you never know and the #2 is there ever week and he is the one I answer to directly and will give notice to.
    Wish me luck !

    Hope all are well.

Boss was okay. I'm unsure if the big boss-lady or COO know yet. I told them I was going to a company that can help me move my way back to where family lives because they have satellite locations in the area that I could slide into sometime down the road - what can they possibly say to that when that is something they can't do?

Thanks troops for the THUMBS UP
This project is a far cry from high tech, or a close tolerance gig, but actually is more in line with a "Rube Goldberg"

This is one of those projects that made having the lathe, the mill and even the 18 volt Ryobi tools a real asset..

The ancient Formost band saw was put to use. (Saw is just like the small horizontals the HF sells) My son in law borrowed the Jet band saw and I had a project going, so I scared up this old filthy Foremost off Craigs list for $50.

Definitely no tight tolerances on this gig though.... As long as the drill motor is in line with little grain mill shaft and the coupling is not binding....WE ARE GOLDEN...

The mill should be here today at the Post office...

Once that is here it's off to the rodeo we go.

I will post more pics and info as I have it to show...

Got the little mill today..... and it looks great.
I ran some shells through it with the hand crank and the beast does a sweet job

Got the little critter outta da box...SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED:yes:

With things very much in a state of flux as far as what the shell plant is going to do I decided that maybe more barrels are a good idea.
We stopped by the Jelly plant here in town...Yessssssssssssssssssssss...they had a buttload of barrels..

Free is a very good price.

Got 20 on the trailer and 4 in the truck

If the plant does not or can not get the shells crushed more, then we are set now for more high volume low weight storage...

No answer from Luneyburg yet. Hmm, maybe someone should take a ride to Helvard and see if they have stashed a body somewhere?

Extremely ashy, 1.5 bags and I have to clean the stove or it starts huffing almost violently. To be honest they do put out good heat and the glass is fairly clean.
