Timber falling

    Did a little timber falling this afternoon. Was thinking of putting a line on her to get it down as I left the wedges and timber jack at home. In the end, it came out okay without them. [​IMG]

    Wandering around in the NH woods.
    That’s pretty easy to do when you are 150’ tall!!!!! The rest of us would have probably needed the wedges and lines to get that monster on the ground.... :eek:

    BIL told me a story of a poor old guy that took great pride in his yard.

    His property bordered a snowmobile trail. Three nice manicured trees were cut and stolen from him. :picard:

    Well Pallet Pete had some wood stole from his pile. He has an alley right behind his house and now one of those rail to trail routes to contend with too.

    It’s becoming a yearly thing people do not realize it’s our heat and help themselves for fire pits and what not. Catching them is almost impossible. Even with deer cams there are so many people on the trail from all over and most I’ve never seen before that identitfying them is next to impossible.
