Heat doesn’t bother me, I just don’t prefer it. I have lived with the heat and humidity of the Deep South, the desert of Arizona....give me Alaska!

Not a full load but got as much cut and loaded before the heavy rain started. Should have this split tomorrow and hopefully have time to get another load.

CFC17963-6938-40FC-BF90-624616E32E51.jpeg Brought a load over to a senior friend that said he doesn’t have enough to get through the winter. Unfortunately it’s still pretty wet but he had room in his wood shed to stack it off to the side to use when the wood he has runs out.

    Unloading and splitting yesterday’s haul. Hydraulics sure are nice. 29E87F95-62E4-46C6-B918-55484391E0D7.jpeg B8F18479-578B-4DB9-991E-FA0100E880BB.jpeg 5F53E872-1B1D-40DD-A942-E8B3D71E5E65.jpeg 4CF72C27-0F93-4A94-81F8-919EBF2361FD.jpeg AC1A35CB-B956-4C5D-881D-3846C8EB6BC7.jpeg 7EA0EF50-A7C7-40C4-83EF-387C683BC295.jpeg E7ADECCB-9EBE-4566-918E-ED2501E855C2.jpeg

Forks are under the pallet. I took a pallet apart to make the sides of the pallet carrier. I use the pallet to move both the rounds and the splits.

A small load on the way home. One white birch and one spruce. Took about a half hour. I have my snow machine at work. About a 5 minute one way ride, had the truck loaded in about 45-60 minutes. 500B94F1-FC9A-4190-817A-F20009506271.jpeg

Got another pickup load after work. One of my buddies from work helped, it was nice having two snow machines and sleds. I'm jealous of your nice winter temps, and all the snow. not jealous that you burn so much soft stuff and you have no hedge. I got a snowmobile I get to ride twice a year. :faint:

Temps come with having snow on the ground for 7 months. I will take the cold to live in a place like Alaska. Cold is what keeps crowds of people from moving and makes half that did move, well they move back after the first winter.
