Stomach flu. They had it at work last week, now I have to deal with it at home.

 

How's that cleansing going?

It took me awhile to get around to that Highland Heavy Ale but I had one today in your behalf Oslo, I got waylaid by a bit of blackberry wine while locating the ale.

 

LOL. Hate it when that happens.

 

It could be a major problem but since I wanted to try the blackberry wine as well it was just a minor issue .

 

Sounds like griz is "cleansing" also. I had that chit a while back. It sucks you got it today and in nice weather. Hope you feel better man I was down for two days from it. One I was completely worthless and the next just to regain myself.

 

I need to try some Blackberry Brandy some time. My father-in-law likes to take a couple of belts of that every once in a while. And sense I like blackberries .....

 

UGH. Feel better man.

 

Campinspecter and I went out and harvested a Toyota truck load of red alder. Sorry, forgot the camera. Made it to the ferry in time to get it over to Granny's and unload it before the rain set in. Spent the afternoon catching up on bookkeeping.

 

Having a beer or three and watching Die Hard with my Hubby. Can't really go wrong with Bruce Willis and beer.

 

Thanks for thinking of me Smokey, so far so good. My wife and I got an invite to a friends and sit by the firepit, we accepted. First time I can remember not drinking when everyone else had a beer in their hands. It was hard but I held true. It ends on Tuesday. I'm happy with the results so far and my will power not to sway.

Give it a try. I just stick to what I can produce without getting the infernal revenuers and other three letter groups involved. I'll buy pre taxed and labeled bottles of the other stuff. My blackberries mainly come from the lot behind us I usually pick them by the half gallon every few days during the season. I won't need any for jam this year so I'll likely get in another batch of wine.

 

Easter was quiet this year, the normally noisy bunch was in Maryland bugging my son. Today I expect that shopping at a rather large fabric store is in order. I'm holding down the fort and taking care of the animals.

 

I escaped that from of the crud when it was making the rounds up this way but I had the other variety. I don't know what is worse. Take care and get better.

 

Just woke up, feeling much better but every joint is aching. Still not hungry.
