I see so many younger guys just starting out who think I'll buy a big snap on or mac box and then buy tools:headbang::headbang::headbang:
You tell them buy a smaller cheaper box and put that extra $10k into tools you need today, don't buy the cheapest tools but buy decent quality
As you gain experience, then upgrade as you go
    But.........i know nothing

Snap on tools/boxes for boys are like bragging rights on a hot girlfriend.
They parade them around showing them off spending lots of money till they have to walk down off brokebich mountain with their tail between their legs .
Then they figure out that less attractive chicks don't require the same upfront costs but still get the job done .

I hug and caress my snap on box every day and think how lucky I am for having it:D

I picked up a 54” Snap-On KRL series rollcab, top chest and full-height locker for about $4k about 12 years ago. At the time, the retail on it would have been $11k o_O but it’s still worth pretty much what I paid for it back then. Plenty of guys retiring, changing jobs, or repo boxes.

I've been looking at getting one of the 44" lower boxes for the garage. I missed the black friday sales when they were $399. The non sale price is $479, but they seem to always be on sale for $449..... And the red, blue and black ones are all the same. HF has really stepped up the quality of there boxes in recent years.

Brought one home Saturday night. Finished putting it together tonight. I gotta say I'm impressed with the quality.
All fasteners were SAE !!! :bug:
Holes all lined up well. No struggling to get bolts in.
One drawer slide may be out of whack. I think I got it corrected . I'll look at it closer tomorrow night.
    Thanks for the coupon Chvymn99

First time I've seen that box. That is perfect for what I need! Any automotive work is done outside.

One of my car message boards, which is full of complainers, has a lot of folks says those are the best kept secret at HF. While they complain about other things they have gotten there, they say those tool boxes are great.

Even better. I just looked, but only saw the 4 drawer ones coupon. I'll have to check later.

These boxes are great. If you need to look really cool, might I suggest replacing the US General emblems with Snap On ones. Get ready for the women to flock to you :smoke:

Where can I get more U.S. General stickers ? If there had been a few less women in my life over the years I'd have a warehouse full of snap on paraphernalia !

They are great boxes, have the chest and it's held up, almost as good as my snap on.

I've been slowly loading it the last week. Love it. Need to go back and get socket trays .
My other tool chests don't roll as easy as this one . I rolled it to the door yesterday as I was wrenching on the big truck outside. Kinda nice not having to walk in the shop an extra 10 steps to grab whatever.
I have a really big rolling cabinet (4'x7'x5') that all my big power tools and 3/4 and 1" drive sockets have been stored in for years that may get replace with a small shelf unit. Some stuff went in the General and the rest can fit on a shelf. That cabinet takes up to much real estate .

Looked at them online and looked well made, and from reading reviews here it seems i may have to check them out in person next time I'm state side!
Ive been looking for a smaller portable for diagnostic tools and electrical tools, right now can't justify spending $1500 to $2000 on a mac or snap on, definitely going to give it a look
Also want some type of a portable workstation at the shop at home that won't break the bank
