Weekend after Thanksgiving we had a couple of students from China, who are going to school at UWL in La Crosse, over to our home to help with decorating for Christmas. They helped put up our Thomas Kincade winter village and decorate our tree. They had never done that before and they had a blast doing it.

When they were done with the tree we moved it back next to the winter village. It is wonderful sharing our culture with those from other lands.

NO decorations up yet! What? Maybe time to get busy on that one. Or perhaps I need to get hold of Erik B and find some of those wonderful girls to help?

No decorations until after birthday celebrations although campinspecter has a tree in a bucket outside ready to go and I have holly waiting to be used.

"German smokers"???????? Had to google that one. I admit I didn't think that the Germans would have been incense burners! Nice!

We have balsam fir incense cones to give it a tree smell in the house. I usually break them in half as they can get overpowering quick.

mmm.....balsam! I'll buy the balsam oil and drop it into 99's pine candles when they are burning.

That is a classy decoration for the holidays! After the holidays remove garland- leave split & axe. Then the eyes will really be rolling!
