    Bocefus was my first dog once I moved out. He was a Doberman and coon hound cross. Quite possibly the dumbest dog I've ever seen. In college, I was normally seen dragging that dog back home across campus after he bolted out the door. And I mean dragging. He wanted nothing to do with a leash. 78 is my birthyear.

    No Tim it’s Chris, but I understand why people always call me Leo.

    When I was young my nana had a stroke, after that day she called me Raymond (her brothers name) I got used to it and whenever I herd nan call Raymond I knew she was referring to me.

    Great story, my friend!

    Mom has a habit of calling the grandchildren other names. She laughs and says, if I'm looking at you, you're the one I'm talking to...:rofl: :lol:

    Marvin is a nickname my dad gave me. After all of my buddies found out I was forever referred to as Marvin. I kinda like it. Mark is my name so it's close enough...

    I live in a place that has been called the Big Woods since the early 1800s. It is/was over 6000 acres of uninhabited old growth hardwood forest on a ridge about 300 ft higher than the surrounding areas. I moved here 35 years ago and commuted 25 miles into the city for work. I am now retired and have 23 acres. I love my woods as much as any man can. So, I am . . intheBigWoods

    Same here. Have my 70 Challeger RT from back in the day, 90 percent done. Lost interest in getting it on the road once I got it home to install the interior and some other minor details. Once it was done and home safely, I got into ther things. Always hated those guys.
    Had tons of Mopar since the 70’s, including a Superbird I paid 2500 bucks for. Sold it for a little bit more.

    My family tree farm has the largest Sourwood tree in Indiana. The State DNR records every largest tree of each native species. Figured given the forum topic, it would be fitting.

    First and middle names, my family name is a very strong German name although we are pretty much mutts. Gunter was given to me by my father, he thought it would be a good name for a football player, which I am not, he wanted it to be my first name but my mother was having none of that...I did go by D. Gunther for awhile but I gave that up cuz it sounds pretentious.

    Well, Kenneth Washington doesn't "ring" properly, I'll stick with Chaz.

    Given name of Charles, father was Charles.
    "Chuck","Charlie","Charles" could have been either of us, depending on who said it.

    While in the AF, met a Brit that called me Chas, I actually had no clue I could abbreviate my name.
    :whistle::rofl: :lol:

    I liked "Chaz", so that's who I am.
    :thumbs:
