i have a 1 car attached garage that I’m trying to organize better. I’d like to see other garages that are used as workshops and how you’re storing tools, etc.

I’ve built 2 work benches and would like to add cabinets for more storage. I use my space for building projects, working on our cars, game processing during hunting season, working on my lawn equipment, etc.

    Let’s see those pics!

My shop is far from organized. I have nothing to contribute...but I will see what everyone else has as I'm considering building a new shop in the future.

I'm still "moving in " according to my garage, been here 12 years

Found out the other day that garages are for actually parking cars in!!
Looking forward to seeing others as well

Pole barn was purpose built as my shop, and the last time it was organized was right after the slab was placed.
    There was nothing inside.:picard::rofl: :lol:

    Gotta show the workspace involved.
    :binoculars:

I've still got my dream garage.

Not one drop of oil on the floor, no clutter, tools in their respective places.

    Yep, the dream garage.
    Perhaps someday it'll be built.

Then it will become cluttered, disorganized, probably dirty, but I'd be happy.
    :)

This is what I’m working with. I wish it was wider. The mower will be going back into the landscape trailer after I'm finished cleaning it out for the year. I bought wider tires for my zero turn that I still need to put on. My leaf loader will be stored in the garage once cleanups are finished. I generally don't store fuel in the garage but right now w leaf cleanups its just easier to grab the backpack blower and fuel cans out of the garage instead of the enclosed trailer.

I have a 7x7 shed in the yard where the snowblower will be stored after winter.

I'm thinking about moving the extra refrigerator to the basement and picking up a mini fridge for the garage. I store gatorade for work in there so it's convenient when loading up in the morning but it's overkill. It comes in handy during hunting season when aging venison so I plan on keeping it.

I want to put the outboard motor on a rolling stand so I can move it out of the way. Its very tight when pulling my 4Runner in the garage. I have to exit through the garage door, go through the house and enter the garage in order to get to the front of the truck lol.

It's amazing that people will store so much worthless, unused "stuff" in their
garage, while the second most expensive, most depended on item in our
lives, sits, cold and frozen in the driveway. I think in the winter, you add years
to the life of your car, when it can be brought in, thawed and dried out,
    it's a game changer.

My mower is worth more than my 4Runner lol. Workspace is more of a premium for me than parking.

I have the same problem, want to get sell/toss stuff but when I go through it its all good stuff that I can/could use one day and it gets kept

I'm guessing the trick here is keep a bunch of crap laying around and when you do throw it out the transformation is more dramatic?:salute::salute:

I find that if I toss something that’s been sitting around for years I’ll end up needing it 2 weeks later lol

I find it easier to GIVE something away sooner than sell it/junk it

Love walking around in scrap yards/auto wreckers looking for treasure!!!

Its like firewood, i don't have a hoarding problem, you just have no vision!:D

    Exactly.

I've got a garage that needs cleaning, but the only ambition I have to do it is that I wouldn't have to move my snowblower everytime I pull the car in or out of the garage.

At lest all of my vehicles are in the garage.

Unless garage is heated!! Warmer temps activate salt and vehicles rust faster! Of course here, rust kills vehicles faster than anything else. Could be 6 months of salt in roads.

If you have a organized garage you need to tell your wife to stay out
