46 bags of Carriage House for me. Down to 4 bags left from first ton.
Gonna be pellet selective in December/January as I just had the oil tank filled today for $2.43 a gallon.

With oil as cheap as it is this year, we burn the stove all night and use oil, if needed, during the day, so only half a ton of pellets so far.

My spreadsheet says 38, but I think I must have goofed somewhere as there for a while I was burning 2 bags a day. Granted, had a couple of sunny, no wind days so didn't use hardly any, but with record lows and mostly cloudy skies this month, I would think it was closer to a ton.

But, since I can't prove otherwise, 38 bags is the official count.

    $2.89/gal. here. I don't consider that cheap.

We have a new computer and the mfg. latest gimmick to suck money out of customers is once the trial period is over, you have to make monthly payments to use the Microsoft Office products. I'm not about to do that so I no longer have access to my spreadsheet, but I have it saved to a thumb drive so I'll take that to work Monday and figure it out.

Started off the season counting but that only lasted for the first 6 bags so I'm guestimating about 14 - 18 for the season

You could get a yearly subscription for something like $70. Still sux since after 3 years you will pay more than Office off a disk. You may be able to get it cheaper off of another site, but I didn't look very hard. You may still be able to get disks too - but maybe that is just older versions.

102 easy since the start of the season which was earlier than most with the exception of Ivanhoe, I refuse to burn oil and the relentless rain makes for a very damp cold old house. One thing I do not have to worry about it the RH in this house at least not since I started burning pellets, when I had the wood stove cranking out heat that was a different story always had a pot or two on the stove or in the early spring 3 pots of sap which allowed me to make 5-6 gallons of delicious Syrup every year do miss that :(

NN how do you like those Carriage House pellets ? I recall seeing something posted about them but don't remember anything on their performance seems you have toasted enough to have a good idea on what kind of pellet they are .

    Thanks

Yup, Libre Office is an excellent alternative. Stable, can do a save-as for a MS Office file type to share with others. I use this exclusively at work and home for word processing and spreadsheets, and have been using variations since the mid 90’s (StarOffice, Open Office) on both Windows and Linux.

Back on topic, I was checking this thread because I didn’t load my woodshed to the gills based on recent years usage, but after November I’m second guessing myself and thinking of bringing in more.

Only 62 bags for the season even though I started way early (9/9/18). But, at the beginning of the season, I only have the P43 going and don't start the P61a until the basement gets cold - this year it was 10/7/18. However, the ground has not frozen yet because of the insulating snow, so the P61a doesn't have to run much to keep it warm down there - yet. Probably doesn't hurt that I got the last of the block wall insulated and the rest of the concrete floor covered this fall. And definitely helps that I knocked out the last wall blocking heat circulation down there - and moved the stove to take advantage of the new configuration with the air stream blowing straight to the other side of the basement.
