    My sister, from Anchorage, called before I even heard about it. She teaches school and was at the school. She is fine along with BIL
    Praying there were no serious injuries.

    All is spared at my household, I am 327 miles away from Anchorage. The city is cut off right now, between land slides and bridge collapses. Thank you for checking in.

    bogydave is in the valley, he is about 40-50 miles or more north of Anchorage. I have heard just minimal damage in that area, fingers crossed.

    Wife said folks in town claim to have felt it. Our home is one of the few that have a poured basement, she said she did not feel it. I am 90 miles east at work, we did not feel a thing.

    Some damage, picture falling,
    Broken glass & frames

    Toolbox fell over on shop, minor damage to car
    Nearby road broken up pretty good
