It's an Oregon Scientific RMR500ESA. Worked great for the last 5 years or so. Its solar powered, but when not left in the sunlight, it does kill the rechargeable battery and the replaceable batteries.

It was around $80 years back. But it came with one reciever and I bought a 2nd reciever for about $15 (3 rooms/ 2 receivers and the room its in)

Just did a quick Google and eBay search and found one like I have (prob needs batteries based on description)

In my search I found a cheaper alternative that's new and does 4 rooms. Measures the temp of the room it's in and 3 indoor or outdoor sensors.

Think I'm going to buy one of these now.

Thanks for making me take a look Eric VW and ivanhoe :D

    Got 2 more ton yesterday.

2 ton of Somersets a month ago and picked up 2 ton of American Wood Fibers from RKO. They used to only carry Easy Heats (worst pellet I've burned). But they had AWF for $189.50 a ton.

With it raining when I got home, my son and I had to open each ton up and rush each ton into the kitchen and then slide them down the steps and stack them.

We have been making a much better effort at keeping the house better humidified this season. Picked up a 6 gallon unit and a 2.5 gallon unit to take care of the downstairs and also have a smaller 1 gallon unit in the bedroom. So far, so good, the whole house has been staying at 40-50 percent humidity, and it’s very comfortable. We’ll see what happens if/when the outdoor temps get really cold later in the season.

Ooh, I like that. I have one station that only does outdoors and the room the display is set in. I have other types of sensors in the two bedrooms and the basement, but those sensors are cheap and who knows how close they really are (example, the % moisture varies widely between two of the same make/model). Sure would be handy to have them all show up on one display and not run around the house to check things - although I do get like 40 steps of exercise in that way :D Hmm, now you have me thinking that I NEED one of these.

Excellent !!! Good for you and I wish you the best and am sure you will do great. Devens Mass wow that’s only 15-20 minutes SE of me that must have been a long haul !

Sitting here on my second shift of the pondering my opportunity as while it’s only once every ten days I’m getting to old for this chit. Should be doing paper work but my brain is toast !

Once again congrats bogieb very happy for you !!
