7" of wet snow earlier today with 32F temps. Wet slick & nasty. Cold 20mph East wind all morning made a pretty good mess. That finally passed mid afternoon. 26F & dropping now, Lake Effect snow starting overnight. That's the gooder stuff, light & fluffy with little moisture content. Oak & Silver Maple in the boiler.

Let's see, silver maple and Siberian elm in the quadrafire. House is at 69° and 24° outside. Apparently it will go down to 18° tonight.

We’ve got 4-5” of wet snow so far with most everything closed and over 10k power outages. The temperature here is just below freezing so it’s sleet then rain just south and east of us. It’s 77 inside and I just put one pine split on to help burn down some coals.
It’s supposed to be pretty well done by around 3 with continued winds. Still have the box blade on the back of the Kubota.
Well Seasoned the town you live in is earning it’s name this year! You guys always get it pretty bad. How’s it looking this morning? I’m thinking Canadian border VT is in the same boat. You guys must be getting a foot or more today. Probably 8” for us.

It is snowing here again, another 6 inches of wet heavy snow.

This is the 4th time the kids have been off from school. At this rate they will be going to school until the day before they go back to school! Jeesh, 4 days and it is only November!

(Last year they did not cancel school for a snowstorm, and a Senior got killed in a car accident on the way there so they cancel school on a snowflake)

Looks like we're sitting at -10 C feels -18 C or 15 F feels 0 F this morning. Also some kind of weather event warning issued, so maybe some crazy wind, snow, and rain gonna happen tonight depending what part of Sask you live in.

We had lots of wind over night in the Rockies with some very sustained long gusts but only about an inch of snow. No power outages that I know of. Holding at 0c/32f.

3 1/2" is all we got. Heavy wet crap. Still sticking on the trees. Need some warm or wind to get it off. Don't like cutting wood with the snow on like this but it sounds like the snow may go away by the weekend. Maybe even some freezing rain Thursday night; yuck. But then warming up.

It turned to rain here and things were getting wet and heavy fast so I cleaned my driveway, and 3 neighbors who shouldn’t be out shoveling this stuff either. 35 out 77 in, beech and pine in the stove.

Hanging about 29. Got a good dusting over night. Still snowing lightly but very steady. We have some wind blowing this stuff around. The radar looks like we are getting caught between the storm from the west and east. We are in a weather watch. Just gonna have to wait and see. Snow is forecasted for tonight and tomorrow also. We have no clue what we are burning as this is some of the wood we bought this spring.

Mid teens now that feels like low singles. We've been blessed with snow all day long and it will continue all night long. Nice that it's fluffy stuff, but its a good 8" since last night.

Was 45ºF this aft. Very little sun though. House was cooling off a bit though so had a pine fire mid-afternoon, then loaded up with maple suppertime on what little was left. Kinda warm in here so that will be it.

Down to 9F by morning. Zero snow cover. Sump pump is still running in my well pit due to our terribly wet year. Unreal. Just went out and cut the outlet hose off short. It had froze up downstream:picard:Really not overly exited for cold this year.

On the other hand the stove is perking along nicely! Hardwood mix.
