Matra in the hopper after 1/3 of the hopper of Okie Plats are finished , have never toasted these before but so far they smell great like a pine pellet similar to Vermonts although they are not the same as these are very blonde and the Vermont's had some brown specs in them. Will see just grabbed them today

    Yes, those are MWPs.

They are a hardwood blend - which is misleading as many people assume that means a blend of different harwoods (I was among those people). Turns out they are a blend of hardwood and softwood (as told by the experts).

Those are my main pellet this year. We finally got a local TSC and I tried some of them out during last heating season. I was still using up my stock from the firesales a couple of years ago, but once those started running low, I got a ton. Burned well enough they are my main pellet this year. I'm part of their neighbor's club so sometimes get coupon's for 10% off anything - so get a great price for a nice middle of the road pellet.

    Back to MWP softies.

The Lignetic Golds were pretty good. Pretty uniform length, half inch or so. Ash looking slighlty better than say MWP blend. Pleasantly surprised.

Looks like we made a PIG out of you, for a disabled pig you sure do a fine job of creating a hefty stash:thumbs:
    Kudos to you :coldone:

I'm trying out the LG Satisfaction's in the Accentra as the weather is much milder this week and so far I'm impressed  Only wish they were a little shorter as long pellets has a irritating scratch in my throat from past experiences:zip:

Oakie Platinums are now in the hoppers. Haven't quite used up all the Chows - so those still have to work their way thru.

Finally broke down and fired up the Harmon.

Half bag of Chows left in the hopper from last season, and then moving on to AWF white pines.

All week Matra's and I have to say these are better than DF's as they are $50-60 dollars cheaper a ton for the same value. Burn Wicked Hot and leave the amount of ash I have only experienced with Doug Fir.

LaCrete's in the hopper as I could not get any more Mantra's which is a nice compromise as they are a good pellet. Did my weekly OCD cleaning and man the Mantra's only created 1/4 of the ash the Okie Plats created

Haven't gotten down to them yet. The P61a should be working its way to them shortly. I counted the bags I have and there are 5.5 in the two hoppers, so that makes sense to me (each hopper will hold 3 bags).
