One of the best brews I've had in a while. Maple breakfast stout. So good! Have to go to Vermont to get more.

Thanks for reminding me!! ;) We'll get them tomorrow and the final round of leaves. Shuffle the shed around, Move the sn*w blower to the lead.

Sn*w tires on and oil change for the buggy, Oil change and some basic's on the pick em up. Some basics on Joeys putt putt. Vehicles should be winta ready. Buggy looks funny with them puny tires on...... Pic's tomorrow as its was near dark by the time we finished.

Around here you need a mulching snowblower for leaves now.

 Around here if you didn't take care of the leaves, you'll be waiting until spring (unless a good long thaw comes along - which I can hope for, but not counting on). Anything that wasn't already snow blown is locked into hard packed snow and ice.

It was 40* yesterday and I managed to beat most the ice off the back door ramp, the driveway and front porch. 35* this morning and still not cleared all the way because the snow pack is keeping the ground temps cold. Rain today but it will freeze on contact. Wonder how many accidents there will be because people are thinking that air temp is warm, so roads won't be icy.

The trim for the front door has been off since fall of 2014, when I replaced the door and sheet rock. One would have thought I would have finished it when I trimmed the windows early 2017. But no, I hadn't because I had to do some finagling where the sheetrock was changed from 1/4" (yes, that is correct :hair:) to 1/2". The door frame was inset just a bit, and I couldn't find material that was small enough to clear the hinges but not be bumped out by the sheet rock.

I finally got the materials I needed to do the job. I used 1/2 in. x 13/32 white bead PVC moulding to raise the door frame yesterday, caulked around it and then let it set overnight to dry. This morning I installed the trim itself.

On a side note, it was a good thing I already had the 3 maple-look trim pieces already since they have apparently discontinued that color and this is what matches the window trim.

Now I just have to scrape the white paint off the door from when I painted a couple of years ago, and repaint it.

    Lookin'd good there, bogieb.

Managed to get a clear day for my drive down to Augsta for my meet.
    Extremely happy with my results.
    9 for 9 attempts.
3 (technically 4 ) new USAPL state records for Masters2 (50 to 59 year old class - 93kg weight class)
Second and third deadlifts were both records.
pulled 200 kilos aka 441 lbs for my third. Also an all time personal PR.

Took a knee lightheaded, but did not pass out.

Next meet is April 6th, and i'm only 20 lbs away from an 1,100 lb total, so that is the next milestone. Well that, and getting back the bench record. I;m not far off of that, but just couldn't train up to it in time for this meet.

The people involved in this are really great.
It has always been difficult for me meeting new people in person, but it is easy with fellow powerlifters.

Two days to recover before the next storm dumps on us.

Usually the same around here as there is still plenty of hard packed snow but its warming up amazingly now and not much for cold weather forecast ed until mid to end of the week, with the rain coming it may just take care of the snow but that does not mean Ill take care of the leaves o_O
They are frozen solid to the mud/dirt which is frozen solid as well.

I much prefer it just stay below freezing.
    I loathe the melt/refreeze.

I am with you StEarl but looking at the extended forecast at least for us down here its going to melt and become a big muddy mess with the rain coming which reminds me I have to give in and get another sump pump and install today
and its not going to be cheap as I went the semi-cheap route with the one in there now and its keeps messing up no rhyme or reason. Going to have to drop some serious coin for peace of mind with the rain coming and the melt down I am going to have a lot of water flowing ......

Had a great TG up at sisters, but had to come back early(friday) because a storm changed, and hit down here at house.Got up early sat and plowed out the rich people,so they could get to the airport and go home. They had brought a bunch of FLA city kids, all boys, and took them skiing, most appeared to have had fun.

Took down the last of the halloween decorations today and cleaned the stove. Had an apprentice geezer nap as well.

Church , then installed the new sump pump an American one this time and nothing goes without a challenge as of course I picked up the wrong adapter to fit on what I had existing with the check valve assembly I had put together before.
Before you know it I almost had to grab my boots as the water was a rising fast and I had to figure out how to make something work without heading back to HD. Figured it out and its now working perfectly along with both my stoves after some serious cleaning yesterday . The Matra's are the bomb as they produce identical ash as Vermonts, not sure how the crank out the heat but it seems very good so far but will know if we have another cold spell.

Oh almost forgot don't know how as it was painful laying down trying to get all the cabling right, I know does not sound painful but it was fricking painful shoulder does not like to be laid on yet.
I installed a new Denon AV receiver /amp for my Home Theater setup, what was cool was the OS recognized the amp and after all the cabling was done it went seamless with the exception of my wife's old workout video would not play right as its a low res dvd. Could I have figured it out oh heck yeah but was tired by then and did not feel like it as its time to get ready for the sack. She pouted a bit but will get over it and someday soon I will figure it out, actually probably tomorrow as I can't leave technical crap like that go it just wears on my OCD nerves until I figure it out and fix it. Replaced my expensive Yamaha receiver with a much cheaper Denon and so far am happy with it . Just does not push the same but plenty enough for a good watching /listening experience.

Back to Hellvard tomorrow and not looking forward to it by any means, only thing that I have in my pocket is that I met with a Friend who started his own company with another friend and they are doing very well. They have been after me for a few years since they started their company and at this dinner meeting he told me a number of times we want you to come to work for us and we will pay you whatever the Fluck you want. Called me wed night and said I just want to wish you and your honey a happy thanksgiving and oh we still want you to come to work for us ! Always get offers but these guys are a class act and if I get to fed up with Hellvard Ill tell them to shove it and jump ship. Just hard for me as I am not built that way but with that said I have always put my company loyalty ahead of myself, maybe a time for change.
Back to the Grind but enjoyed the 4 days off and am thankful for it.
    Hope all are well .
