I was nervous about blizzard drifting living across from a pond. But after the first one last year, I am in the clear. My neighbors 100' away get clobbered due to the wind currents. Not so much for me

They don't know how much we'll get. I'm ready though. I think I'll bring up some firewood before it hits at 4 or whatever.

Last night we all watched a movie titled Leave No Trace. It’s break time now today and we are getting ready to watch The Post. Tough to find movies we want the kids to see. These are two of them.

Beautiful day today :D:D:D High 53* and sunny, Unfortunately, nothing got done as far as wood. :(:(:( I had been looking forward to this day to do some cutting and stacking. Spent the day doing domestic engineering.

My wife was taken by squad to the ER Friday night. They thought she had a severe case of the flue and admitted her. I thought she would get out of the hospital yesterday but didn't happen. They released her today with the final diagnosis of Norovirus.
The nurse said "I had to wipe all hard surfaces down with bleach." There went my plans.
I started giggling and my wife said, "What are giggling about?"
    "Nothing honey."
"I know you better than that. What are you giggling about?"
"This is going to be fun. I can't wait to wipe down your dog. Your are going to have the cleanest dog in the country."
Now the nurse chimes in, "The dog isn't a hard surface."
Dam that nurse. Those medical people sure can take any fun away. It was even a male nurse. Come on give a guy a break.

Got the house wiped down, cleaned the litter trays, and brought wood in to fill the rack. Suppose to be windy, rainy and cold the next couple of days. Fortunately not much snow accumulation.

Off to fix supper. Better days ahead.
