You could paint the ends of all the firewood to match the house, and cross pile any sawdust too… Really spiff it up…

I must have a mild form of OCD. I think firewood stacked up is a neat and tidy thing.
However, the doggie "treats" all over the yard are my yearly springtime nemesis, and are considered "messy".
I guess it's all relative, eh?:)

My wife can't stand tootsie rolls all over the yard so she practically holds a shovel under Giz's butt…

Oh, and I think it's probably a safe bet that we won't need pics to prove this actually happens.
    Put the camera away.....please.

My wife is that way. Love her dearly but she drives herself crazy cleaning up after the boys and me. I'm still like one of the kids mostly.

You are definitely not alone. But, you might need to re-think the "thing of beauty" attitude toward a perfectly stacked rack of firewood… :axe::fire::D

Out the side door this morning.

And back a couple weeks ago when we were 're-stacking' the splits to fillers ;)

It's not the stack of wood that drives me crazy, it the grass and weeds that grow up next to it. We only have a big gas powered weed eater which I can no longer use after my accident. I need to get a small one that I can use so I can trim around everything nice again...until then I'm hiding it behind the garage where no one will see the mess :)

You sure I can't get you to stack it up in the living room where it'll be in the sun… it'll dry better there…

I do have this really big picture window in there with lots of sun coming in. I have pine logs framing the doorway so it would go with the decor...(see pic below)
Does a poplar log pile clash with pine logs??? ;)

Wouldn't that be perty! Bark comin' off all the splits, bugs crawlin' all over the pile… why, you'd be the envy of all your neighbors.

Those pine log frames are nice!
