    We had 2 deaths this week just a day apart. A friend died at 69, just a few months after his retirement. And my sons long time girlfriends grandfather died at 68. Very proud of my son as he stayed at the hospital until he passed. It hit him hard. My heart is just breaking for all of them. Thank you for any thoughts and prayers.

    Another friend that I grew up with, died Sat, Oct 27, 18, of a massive heart attack. He was 61...had his funeral on a Tuesday, his wife went in for surgery Thursday same week, wound up having several stents done in her leg and chest. They have a teenage daughter. Deborah could use a lot of prayers.
    Makes me nervous, I'm 56. But I have faith when I'm going and have lived a great life.

    Another update...got to work tonight and found out a retired coworker lost his wife to cancer this afternoon.

    How sad. It happened here too. Just ordered flowers for a co-worker whose mothers funeral is tomorrow.

    Also found out a cousin of my wife lost their baby a couple months before the little girls due to arrive.

    Prayers for all. You never know when but we all have an appt. with our last breath here. I do not fear death but I am still enjoying myself here.

    On another note we can stand some prayers as well. My Mom is doing well but will be in the hospital for a couple weeks for rehab. My wife has taken her Mom in for heart/A-fib.

    Although my wife and I have talked about this I hadn't posted it here but decided to anyway.

    A year ago, just 2 days before Thanksgiving I was a breath away from losing my life. Needless to say I spent the Holiday in a hospital and really made things tough on my wonderful wife. It turned out to be a long week but did get home then a long recovery time. We've made some changes around here because of it. But needless to say, we both have so much to be thankful for and especially thankful for the help of Jesus. Without Him I don't think I would have made it. But, I've made it another year!
