Looks Like I did it! However I accidentally hit the create thread button too early and wouldn't have necessarily sent these particular samples. Just random for now and I'm getting in trouble for tinkering with this on Thanksgiving. Ill send more specific photos in future posts.
So I figured out the problem. I had played with the photos on my own here and there for a few weeks with no luck, so I seized on the opportunity of Thanksgiving with my guests being a bit more tech savvy. We tried the usual way of extracting picture files from the phone, but none of the usb chords in various ports worked. Don't know why this was, but the chrome book is 7 years old and phone is 4 years old, so maybe just out of date technology or incompatibility. Anyway, my friend at work suggested just e mailing the photos to myself and then see if I can download them from my mailbox to the chrome books files. It worked and it's not all that difficult to do instead of the direct chord transfer. Oh and Midwinter thanks for your input, but I didn't even need to resize the photos! Maybe my old galaxy phone doesn't take large pictures so it wasn't a problem to fit them into the FHC format? I know my photo quality looks horrible compared to my wife's I-phone pictures so I imagine mine are probably smaller files to begin with. They are also not as sharp or color saturated as other peoples photos who post on this site, but they will do for now. Thanks for hangin in there everyone!
Glad you got it figured out. "In trouble", just tell the missus that you are sharing part of what you are thankful for...that should work....
