    Got the foil on just in time! This Turkey was nice & moist. Went good with the gravy, biscuits, roasted corn, mashed & sweet potatoes, fried stuffing balls, and cranberry sauce. Full, dessert later, then more Thanksgiving dinner! :D

    We are just getting things going. Got the giblets cooked and Chaz is cooking down the juice from them as it will be used in the gravy along with the Turkey juice. Giblets will be chopped to add to the gravy. It is smelling so good in here.

    Will be making my stuffing. Sauteing onions and celery in butter with poultry season along with a little baking powder.

    Once that is done will add that to my steamed bread along with couple well beaten eggs and in the bird it goes and then to the oven. Yum

    Scary isn't it. I have made giblet gravy for years. For many years before my divorce I would host the family Thanksgiving dinner for about 25 people. After many years one member of the family saw me getting ready to put the giblets in and raised a big stink. Then nobody would let me do it again. There would not be any left by the end of dinner before that. :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:
