Finally sitting down for the day, worked all day then came home and cut up some venison for jerky then put it in the brine. Momma cooking some stuffing and string bean casserole for tomorrows feast. Happy Thanksgiving all.

:hair:WOW - I'm usually the one paying outrageous prices for propane. Was pleasantly surprised when I paid just over $3.50/gal last week.

Guessing it will be a might chilly in the morning - it is 17F right now and fairly windy. Turned up the temp on the cellar dweller to 74* to warm up the main floor floor and made sure both hoppers are full.

Up for annual Turkey day deer hunt with son and friend. Really don't want to go out as weather station says 13 deg. with 5 mph wind. Have a bit of a cold too. But gonna go. Quiet day today, I will fry a small bird for wife, youngest son, and myself. Young son will help wife get the rest ready as her shoulder is still useless. Oldest son and family will be here for desert later. Be safe and enjoy everybody

A fine 5* here this morning. Winds are still light but supposed to get up to steady in the 20 mph range. Light snow last night - but nothing that needs to be taken care of.

You be in the chill zone CL. Average high for today is 46* and we are supposed to be in the mid-teens. Uggh

Even frosty inside on the OAK for the P43. Probably for the P61a also, but I am not going to go check right now

Getting a turkey dinner for two from kathryn's son. He is executive chef at the Sheraton. I'm going to work on the Case VI restoration project, still in disassembly mode. Right wrist is great. Left gets done on Monday. Carpel tunnel

Jeeez Man Highway robbery ! Glad we only use it for cooking and hate the vendor we get it from as they are pain in the arse to deal with because they are the only dealer we can get it from and they know that.
IHP hoping your only using for supplemental heat and I am guessing to heat your domestic water.

Set up the humidifiers this morning. House is still at 39%, but with the cold for the next couple of days it will go down. Have had a water pot on top of the P43 for a week

You know they are cr*ppy pellets when you can't sell them at $4/bag, even with the snow and cold temps. These are one pellet I'm not sure I would take at any price again. They do burn, and I could put up with the ash if they actually put out any heat

Warmed up to 6* now and the wind seems to be calming down some which is huge for the old house hmmm maybe not tree's are a swaying again crap. Both stoves are cranking working hard and will be for a while .
Headed to the sister's for Turkey day going to have some family there which will be nice and I am looking forward to it. Always a ton of food and good drink at the lake house .

Once again like every year when it hits the single digits I tell myself I will be working on the house come spring and summer, should be healthy enough to do so this year.

Everyone have a safe, happy thanksgiving enjoy your day to the fullest with your friends and family !
