Helping my BIL build his basement bar. Looking to put this kegerator in and mount the faucets on what will be the wall right above the kegerator. I’m sure there is some sort of system to mount faucets on a wall like that and also a way to run the beer lines through some sort of insulated and chilled piping. Any help or thoughts you guys might have is appreciated. There’s a bar supply store that has all that stuff but it’s about 45 minutes from me so not trying to drive there unnecessarily. The kegerator is going to be set back farther to sit flush with the wall.
Is the tap adjustable to mount on a wall? Ours was mounted to the top of the kegerator. We removed it and mounted it to the bar top about 8" higher. The supply and chiller lines were long enough. I don't think ours will mount on a wall though.
No, it’s not meant to mount on wall, the tower will not be used at all. We did think of mounting the tower on the bar with the kegerator directly underneath like your setup, but decided we’d rather have it recessed into the wall to save space. It will be a short run of line from the kegerator to the wall mounted faucets. Guess they make a glycol chiller pump that goes in the kegerator and a insulated trunk line that the beer lines get routed through. Have to look into it further. So who’s got a setup like this? We’re going to have only 2 faucets though.
