    I'm burning gooder stuff now. Catching up on some dvr'd tv last night, I told my wife she better be prepared to be chooched up. I threw 3 sugar maple splits on after I got home from work. Yes, that got it going. Then, I put a 3/4 load of sugar maple and a split of fir last night at 11:30. 25 this am outside, 70 in the house.

    I woke up to a nice bed of coals, raked them, and put on a split of sugar maple and one fir split.

    We had a couple windows replaced a short while ago..........3-5 years? Still have one more that I'll be glad to see gone!

    Interesting forecast. Forecasted high is 30 in Owosso. Present temperature is 32. In Saginaw the forecast is 28 and that is the present temp.
    We'll be shivering tonight and tomorrow. Then warmer for the weekend.

    Our forecast for Sunday looks interesting as well. All the guessers have no clue at the moment. It could reason or it could snow. Could be a lot.

    Whatever. I'll bring a few trailer loads of wood up to the patio stack. Bring it.

    Slept in late this AM. The house is 52, I let the fire go out yesterday afternoon. Outside 29. 3 yr dried Oak warming things right up. Update, the house is now 58.

    Heading down to 3°F tonight with a wind chill of -10° to -25° overnight until 10 am tomorrow. Heavy snow bands this afternoon- we've already recieved 20+ inches of snow the last 2 weeks. Burning birch here

    Single digits here by 5:00 AM. I just started burning logs a couple days ago. Iv been burning scraps from a pallet mill since the start of burnin season, one hot fire in the Am and another in the PM. Right now iv got maple, and cherry in there and next up for the evening burn will be shag hickory and cherry.
