We've had sliders before and most of them will squeak from time to time. We've always just used parifin wax on them and it takes care of the squeak. However, we now have one that is squeaking again and again but just can't seem to stop the squeak. Any suggestions?
Before I read this I was going to say paraffin. I’m wondering if powdered graphite might work, although it can be messy. There are some sprays that leave a dry lubricant behind after they dry, and that would be what I would look into. A product call Tuf Glide works well on outdoor things that need lubrication.
I've used the dry film spray. It seems to last pretty long too. For sure. It's like going into the barn. Even if it is closed up, it is amazing how much dust there is on everything. There's a joke about sand getting into everything but we won't post any pictures here.
