Damm B, you are one motivated individual. .. I ain't shoveling 'nuthin today if I can avoid it. :D

Vetting / cleaning out the '96 Camry so it can get towed out is on the list today/this week.

And swapping the rear wheels on the '00 Camry to the '96 rims. Had been chasing some suspension 'shake', so only swapped the fronts over Thurs. to troubleshoot / diagnose it.

Conclusion is the steelie wheels that were on the '00 were curbed/bent/wobbled/chit .. by me, & certain other learning-to-drive Daughters, who shall remain nameless in the investigation.

Originally bought the '96 Camry last year for the rims & new tires the PO put on it (b4 the brake lines went), fixed those (fun project), put a new MC in it I got at a steep discount ..

Didn't have a lot of money invested in it, certainly not more than a good winter tire/wheel set. The wheels/tires, seat covers, bulbs, gadgets and other gizmos & do-dads I've pilfered & pirated from the '96, have more than made up for any investment so far.

Have a fun morning all. :coffee:

I have about 50 hours invested and maybe $300 invested in it. Fortunately the engine was rust free and needed nothing. The carb was the worst and I'm still fighting issues due to the corrosion that was there. I'll need two new tires in the Spring because I don't trust tires that have been sitting for so long and I really don't want a blowout on the highway. It's got 29,000 miles on it and 1982 was the first year of employee ownership after they bought it from AMF. That's why there's that little badge on the front fender. I'll tell ya, there's nothing like the sound of an old Shovelhead!

Although I love not having to mess with a carb on my FI bike, there is nothing that compares to the sound, nor perks up my ears better than a carb'ed Harley Po-ta-to, po-ta-to sound!

Well, since you missed seeing any at your place, this is from this morning - after it had been melting a lot of the night (was almost 40* this morning - 43* now)

Shoveled ramp, shoveled around both fence gates, ran the bike for about 10 minutes to charge up the battery (they pick it up on Friday, otherwise I would set up the battery tender), filled the suet feeder, paid the propane bill, cleaned bird cages and cat boxes to get ready for the dump run. Then I took my morning shower .

After the dump run I waterproofed two pairs of boods, read some which turned into a . Decided to clean the P43. It's had more than a ton go thru so I did the LBT too. Ran my egg shells/coffee grounds out to the mulch pile, answered a question on another forum, took pictures and posted that to supplement my answer and thought about doing some clean up in the basement. Um, not happening - although that could change later. Made a mid afternoon snack and decided to come play on this forum :)

You did notice I took a nap right?

I actually feel like not much has been accomplished today. If I hadn't written a to-do list, I would struggle to remember that I did anything at all. And, full disclosure, I didn't dig out the steps to the front door (I never use it anyway). I needed to leave myself some sort of physical activity for tomorrow.

    X2 !

Warming up nicely today and some serious melting going on which I do like. Felt Froggy this morning and a tad bit angry as the Mrs. sparked a bit of anger in me last night and I was all set up to do a Rideabout similar to a walkabout but in a truck. This is how I clear my thick head and nearly posted this morning "who wants to go to breakfast or Lunch depending on how far you live, I'm buying"I was ready to travel from Maine(North) to Pocono's(south) or Upstate NH or NY(west) on my Rideabout Haa sometimes they last for days or even a week but thought better of it.

Sat in my truck and decided to do something productive as the snow we got woke me up a bit , yep only a bit but ended up heading up to New Hampster and grabbed some Northern Max to see if they are what they were last year as anything available is expensive this year but these were even more than the Okie Plats. After coming home I unloaded the Northern's and the Mrs. wanted to converse well nope was not in the mood so after I finished loading all the Northern's back in the truck I went. Headed east this time and grabbed a ton of Okie's as they are nearly out of them and I just wanted to be busy and away from the house for a bit. Off loaded the Okies and noticed they had a very different aroma then the fist 3 tons that I have grabbed, smelt much more pungent than the others that had the clean Spruce smell to them.
These were a bit shorter and a bit darker and smelled completely different in fact they smelled exactly the same as the Eagle Valley I have had in the past. Who knows see how they burn .

Now I am in the middle of cleaning the P68 after thoroughly cleaning out the Vac and Vac filter. I moved all the remaining Down East bags over to the P43 area as this is what I am burning in it.
Have quite a bit of ash from the week of burning the Okie's so this week I am going to burn nothing but the Northern's to see how they compare as the weather will be very similar to what we had last week.
For $16 a ton more it would be with it to me as there is quite a bit of Carbon build up as well but Heh can't complain to much they kept the house toasty all week. Almost forgot the Pics

Well back to cleaning out the beast ! After that at least an hour of Stretching and exercises followed by ICE and of course some kind of beverage to take the edge off.
    Hope all are well !

Plowed a little in my property,8" but dry fluffy because 10 degrees.Rich neighbors texed me,they are coming in monday, wanted to make sure they could drive in.Texted me a bit later, said they saw on their security cameras where last time I plowed,I took up some gravel and dirt, could I use shoes/skids(I do this time of year, ground is not froze.).Reminded them that in late fall they had a lot of dirt work done, and put 2 to 6 inches of gravel on stuff, but had nothing compacted, and no one is driving on it.Might be a short plowing season for them if I hear 1 more complaint,as I only will listen to 2 complaints. So then I went over and plowed them out. They are on top of a ridge, had 2 foot drifts, normal for over there.Anyway,I have calmed down, and time for a brew.Think I will go to my sisters for TG,they will not have to be plowed(looking at the weather),and she is only 300 miles away.

Being an old phart, I would prefer a quieter exhaust, but all the kids I see on the road like the "thunder"! It does have quite the unique sound.

I'm guessing they were pictures from Photobucket. I've disabled my account with them.
