You don't want him on prednisone but for a short duration. Watch out for a change of behavior (restless) while on that med.

Having 6 cats, I keep fresh dry cat food, wet cat food and fresh water available for them all day, every day. There is never an argument at the cat feeders.

This is why I have a hard time doing anything on my computer at home. Rita hogs the mouse pad and at least one kitten has to be around too. Yeah, I need to have a desk organization day :emb:

Except for the cats, it could be a picture of my desk at times. Since I got the new to me desk which is bigger, I have tried to keep it cleaner looking. Doesn't always work.

Since I have been on prednisone for 10 years and will be for life, I am SHOCKED at the very high dosage my pets are prescribed. I am almost twice the weight of Blondie and they gave her quadruple my dosage for my weight, I knew 3 elderly people now passed that suffered rheumatoid arthritis 50+ years ago and were prescribed massive dosages of it for decades, they all suffered with unnecessary broken bones and fractures and kidney complications later on due to osteoperosis from prednisone on top of aging bodies and the disease ravaging their body. I don't get it. My shep/husky x was on it for "collie nose" (form of cutaneous Lupus in dogs) and she would pant and pace and drink and pee incessantly all at once poor baby (she was so fortunate, CSU Vet College developed a better meds combo that came about while she was had it. It Worked!). Blondie did not get the "dust bunny effect" like the shepx did but still drank and peed excessively. That as well as wearing kidneys out from high doses. We need a canine version of methotrexate or humira/enebrel. I don't get it. Off my soapbox, thanks for reading if you got this far.

I asked my vet about this, simple version is dogs organs only need to last 15 ish years, people need them for 100. They can be much more agressive.

The toe-grabber blends in in very easily to her surroundings...

That is a beautiful dog rottiman. Quite the look of intensity in her face.
