We got about 6" here and it switched to rain early hours of the morning. This stuff is heavy. Add in the wind driven sideways rain just makes it even better. Supposed to break late morning, temps just above freezing. Sun and 45 tommorow.

Went out and took a couple pics. Kinda hard to see the hill on the other side of the valley because got a light snow coming down. If you remember Holly from Walt's GTG then that will give you an idea of the snow. Took another of our table also. I believe it is up to 32.

    Nothing better than shoveling slop!

I did minimal shoveling, but plowed the driveway. Made a giant. Muddy mess out of the grass down next to the road where I stack my snow.

More snow. Just a few inches but makes it pretty outside.

If you enlarge the pic with Holly and look between the barn and top of the trees in the center you can see the interstate. I am looking north.

No snow on Maui for my wife's birthday today!

We're going out to dinner tonight at one of her favorite places on Maui.

There's a ton of green sea turtles foraging right below our condo. I'll see if I can get a pic.

So 2 hours to clear drive, 2 visitors stuck in it:loco: , if a foot of snow in quarter mile drive, and you call me, I say I am opening it at noon, why would 2 different people try it at 1145.. Common sense.. Wife got home made me a drink... Sure enough couple more inches already:jaw:

Brother was one of them, that got stuck, there is 2.5 feet of snow at dads camp half way between my house and Well Seasoned, so snow up to his azz:p

His plan use snowmobile to pack trail ... Life in the north is  .

This is a pretty nice walnut crotch table at a local pizza place. Not traditional dutchmen. Not bad at all.

Here's a pic of one of the cool places we have been to on Maui just too rub it in. You know, if you drink enough booze, and imagine that the snow is sand, you might think you are in Hawaii. ;)

I haven't tried that. To be honest I'm not a fan of diving or swimming in the ocean at night. We did that in Fiji once. Then bull sharks started to come in to shore. So that was the end of that.

    Maybe early winter, early spring?

Mind you We had a winter a few years ago where winter came, left for a few weeks in January, it might as well have been spring or early summer, then it came back.

Just waiting for the rain to finish this off so I can load up and get to the dump.
