I have some Al and will be using them for sure tomorrow. The only problem I have with them is they simply do not last very long. I think it is because inside the boot they don't get air.

Something else that I should have mentioned when answering Al is the ThermaCare heat wraps. Especially the one for the back. For keeping warm all day, these thing are super. Tomorrow morning before I leave the house to sit in a blind, perhaps all day, I'll be wearing one for sure. It really helps to keep the body warm and for sure it does me with my hurting back. In addition, those things will give heat way over 12 hours. I remember one time having one on for 16 hours and it was still hot!

I have been tempted but still haven't, to wear one of the smaller ones on my feet to see if they work better than the little heat packs. Maybe I'll be trying that out soon.

Dug out the Carhartts. It's that time of year. But nice and sunny out; hope that sticks around for a while but all bets are off during this time of the year. Snow tires go on next week.

Will definitely be in a deer blind very early in the morning; about 1/2 hour or more before you can see much out there.

Got letter from country and they want to cut trees along our road. I'm against it. They tried to cut a bunch of our trees before but I was able to stop them. Hope I can do it again. We are on a dead end road; only 2 residents. Neither of us has complained. Leave us alone!

Same thing with the utility wanting to do a bunch of trimming now. What?!! This is crazy. It is deer season. Do it at a different time. The crew was 1/4 mile from us this morning so I went to the foreman and made it clear we do not want them on our property this week or even for the rest of this month. Then I called the utility company as a back up. Hope I was successful.

There is a $10 "carpet glider" attachment I can buy, going to do that, potty training an 8 week old puppy, supposedly I can go over carpet with that attachment and sanitize the accidents I cleaned up already. Mop weighs 6.5 lbs

Took care of things around house and barn this morning. Dump run for parents and us. Then a break for an hour. Hello chair...

Then began the installation of plastic panels to enclose porch. Almost done. Lots of breaks near wood boiler while doing this. Currently 14 with a slight breeze.

A cold beer in a bit. Then I will will have something called “Pizza and wings” with wife and kids. Figured I’d try something different.:emb:

We will then all try to relax and watch some TV in the warmth and go to bed early. On the road very early. If I can get my beautiful wife to leave that early.

Not a bad ride.... I think the ave was 22.5.
I had to remember how to drive in the north. I did pretty well in 80 mph, bumper to bumper... at night. Been a long time since I participated in driving like that... kinda forgot, but I guess I still got it in me.
Fire Flake was like, “You drove 80 miles an hour???!!!!At night???!!!”

    Yep.... like a F#€kin’ Boss!:salute:

I made Richard Petty proud.
