Pass #5 on leaf cleanup today. Not much left, next week will rake out the tight spots they collect around the house and do the final cleanup, as well as the gutters.

EDIT - I originally wrote combustion blower when I meant the distribution motor. [end edit]

Have been PM'ing with don2222, gave him a sound video of the issue, and he says it sounds like bearings are going and windings are shot. I suppose now is better timing than January anyway!

Got the boiler going. Hope just to crank up the P61a to He11 settings downstairs so keep the propane use low. However, guess I should call for a delivery just in case.

Into week 2 of cold weather, light snow almost constant, but not amounting to much, not enough to make money plowing.Glad i put in xtra ton of pellets this fall, lol. Was not paying attention to dehumidifier,in my dirt floor basement,it rolled a little, sits on top of my Austroflamm, bucket dripped onto lid and ran into the hopper.Scooped out almost a bag of wasted pellets,so have it fired up,to burn down the rest, and run the fines through. But,it is 15 here,so not like wasting heat.

The wife is dealing with it now and has been for a while, hopefully PT will take care of it but good to know Sub that surgery is an viable option just do not want to see the wife suffer anymore.
    Thanks

I did not see any mention of a gasket, would suggest that you order a new one if in fact there is one to be installed, can't imagine there is not one but a check would be a good idea.
    Well done TT

Thanks! What I was looking at (the OEM model #) is twice the price.

Thanks for the offer. I should be okay though.

Don't see a gasket in the manual or when I look at the unit on my stove.

You do not need a gasket there,I'm pretty sure Harman never put one there, like most of their models. Some stove manufacturers put one there,"to quiet down" the blower, but never really worked,as the bolts/studs/nuts still made it a metal to metal interface.

Long day. Hunted this am but nuthin. Slowest year yet. My hearts not in it either, son and bother in law were in Ohio hunting all week and weekends and my other bud is in Montana. I couldn't go this year, wife had rotator shoulder surgery Wednesday and boss had his hip replaced on Tuesday. Took wifey down to pharmacy to get new sling and scrips. Helped her get cleaned up and settled in. Got out and used cyclone rake to pick up a bunch of leaves and cleaned out the gutters. Moved the scooter to the small garage and brought the s#&wblower over to the big garage and gave it the once over. Fired up on one pull. Cleaned the E2. Got back out for a short afternoon hunt but again nothing moving.
Wife is doing much better than I was expecting, just taking advil now and starts therapy on Wednesday.

    23ºF here. Brrr...... :shiver:

Finished the pick up Saterday. Steering linkage was not that bad, Just awkward to get at. I guess one of the Power steering lines got wiggle too much as pink stuff was dripping. :headbang: Had to fetch a new hose. Good thing the part stores are open late or I would need to finish Sunday. Got one round of leaves in Sunday. Out of gas on Monday!!

Hip hurts from the pick up repair. Neck and should hurt from the leaves!! :picard:
