Stihl mount bar on Husqvarna.

    So I'm wanting to run my stihl mount total bar on my 562xp. I bought the adapter from Homelite410. Adapter fits fine, but the chain adjustment pawl is to big for the hole in the bar. Can I / should I drill the bar?

    Yep. It'll take a good bit to do it. Or a carbide burr in a dremel

    You may also have to lengthen the slot forward so it matches the husky slot length. Or use a slightly stretched chain

    huskihl If I do enlarge the holes how will it affect future use on stihl saw? As for enlarging the holes, maintenence shop at work can handle it.

    It'll just be a tad bigger than the pin. It'll work fine either way once it's enlarged
