I've got quite a lot of dead poles too and plan to work on them when things dry out. Since I've been enjoying this forum, I've decided to do a row of covered stacks along a stonewall, with those dead poles. Would make it better to use my little trailer and buck up the poles down in the woods. Just as long as I do it a little at a time. Man, was I stupid Monday. I felt pretty good that afternoon, just tired… but spent the next 2 days paying for it. Hate it when I do that.

Yup, Giz loves muck. Smells drive her nuts. I use a remote collar that vibrates and she responds really well with it. After a few times, she thinks the muck is what's causing her collar to buzz. Hate to keep her from being a dog, but… you know… white dog n' all. ;)

She was pretty funny this morning… gaggle of turkeys was making a racket down in the woods and she was "concerned"… bout jumped thru her azzh*le…

Nice work Loon, we're in a stretch of weather that should open up the woods so I can cut by next weekend or sooner.

When does the frost come out of the ground in your area?

They get a howling every night and she gets to barking, waking up the house  but thats what they are bred for Stinny. She has about 2 acres of underground fencing around the house because her and Murphy used to like to go for very loooong walks :binoculars:;)

I just went back in to check the water levels in the Brook (about the same) the one area that still has enough snow that I would get the Rhino stuck was tempting, I'm thinking by late Monday or early Tuesday it will have lost enough snow I'll be cutting this coming week.

There's a tale of his uncle winding 2 yotes just before they topped a hill. He took off and hit the 1st at full speed....now there's only 1.:D

It sure does make for a quick load woodlands :) She did get her hand between a rock and a block which made her finger go purple but she's a trooper. Gonna get her some more ppe as she said its alot more fun than standing around waiting for me to block.
Heading back over to get that other dead elm in the second pic today plus i found around a dozen standing dead that all needs to come back to the house ;)
