    47f here now. About to load up some doaty oak that's been stacked a few years that was keeping an old dog from digging out for years. Need to reload the stove house is cooling down

    20 and a horrendous wind chill . About 3" snow overnight .
    Our low was cast for 28 .
    Oak and beech .
    Had a lot of outside work planned for today . I'll likely wait .

    I surely do Dave. What I remember the most is that really cold wind and boy it was strong. I don't remember some details but for some reason I had to go work that day near Hillman in the LP. A nasty day for sure. Then we heard on the news about the ship going down. Nasty.

    Not sure the overnight temps but don't think it was much cooler (if at all) than this morning. Currently sitting at -9 C feels -17 C or 16 F feels 2 F. Should warm up a few degrees later with a little extra wind on top. Poplar in the reactor.

    35 here and very windy, 20's tonight. Maple, Cherry, and Oak on the menu tonight. I stocked the wood boxes on the front porch today once the rain stopped.

    30 here in my corner of the Berkshires. Lots of wind here as well! Sucks the heat right out of the house, but the IS is keeping up with a low cat burn - white pine running 400 stt and 74 down stairs. Still haven't run any hardwood since installed at the end of september.

    Supper on the stove.. Mr Papi's cooking tonight.. Beef, chicken, and veg in red wine gravy over egg noodles. Nom nom nom

    29 right now...supposed to get down to 21. Put 7 pieces of hedge in the boiler this morning and that should last until tomorrow AM.
