Okay then. And after my four day weekend I work one 12 hour day and then have a 12 day vacation! I told you things were going to slow down a “little”!

Yes, I'm bringing my mask, snorkel, and fins. We're going on a day boat trip snorkeling ( I might scuba) at molokini, and I'll be able to snorkel every day in our bay. I'll probably boogie board and I'm wanting to surf as well. Most places want to sell you stupid expensive lessons. I don't need lessons, I just need a board and non 80' waves. Whales are arriving daily apparently. It's the start of the good part of whale watching.

We're supposed to get 2" tomorrow. First snow accumulation of the season. Starting early but not supposed to accumulate until after 4am. Which is good timing on our part.

Monin... calling for 8" of snow up a little further north from us. And, I heard the weather guesser say 10 degrees coming up next week... can't be long now...

After wife and kids get off to school it will be time for some barn organizing and cleaning. Then move tractor attachments into the barn.

Morning. Looks like were going to miss out on the snow but we do have more some rain on the way for sat.

 

Snow hasn't started yet...at least not the heavy stuff they're predicting to last until 24 hours from now.

Probably a fresh dusting of 2" overnight.

Three schools in the western U.P. have closed today. What? There is barely enough snow to move with a broom right now!

 

Hmmm...."No chit" territory right here, no?

Maybe you can show up at the cottage with your snowblower and do the driveway?

Gonna try to get the oil changed out on the rav4 today.

 

I put chains and snowblower on bota yesterday just in case!!

 

Coffee tastes pretty good this morning....up too late last night.

 

A lot easier to put them on before you need them for sure!

 

Morning all. Rain predicted but it looks like it is clearing outside. campinspecter is getting ready to go out to get firewood this morning. Not only is this the last day of the week but it is Pay Day! Whoo! Whoo! I probably have spent it already.
I have been working on a pair of socks for my daughter and I think I have re-knitted the foot about three times. Watching an intriguing drama while following a lace knit pattern doesn't work out so well.

 

Thanks a lot everyone. We are real happy about this too. It’s getting to be like our social life is nothing more than doctor visits this year. We keep looking for those “Golden Years.”
