The cats retained their positions. No one challenged them this election.

finally got to the I6 Trojan dozer. bought it in January and promised to return when it got warm to start it and move it. got way busy all summer - got out there once and determined that the gas tank smelled foul, sediment bowl was full of gunk, and no spark from the mag. HHHHHMMMMMM.

went yesterday with a better plan. took the New Holland loader tractor and with the help of son Dave towed it out of the garage and to a spot where it could be loaded. Called my friend with trailer big enough to move it.

    ready to go!

Hello good people. Hope you are all well and happy.

I come to you in time of need.
Just reinstalled the original (whimpy) combustion motor into my heatilator, because my sweet high amp replacement finally siezed up.

It would be wonderful if someone has handy a link to the upgrade kit one of the members sells.
It's the 11 fin Gleason Avery motor. 1.75 amp
I'm not having the easist time finding it on my initial searches.

    Thank you.
    Wes

Aha! I believe this is it
    6" Quadra-Fire Upgrade High Quality Exhaust/Combustion Blower & 2 male | East Coast Hearth

The flame with this old motor is so sad, lol
    I'm spoiled

    Done. Thanks.
I'll try and pop in again before winter is over.

Getting ready for my second Maine powerlifting meet.
    Nov 24 in Augusta.
Someone took a couple of my state records, so i'm going to do my best to get them back.

Ugh, these last few weeks before a meet are terrible.
Looking forward to my taper and then a little break after the meet just lifting light for a week.

I also got a wild hair a couple of weeks back, and finally made a new gasket from the big sheet of glass paper i've had for a few years now.
Really glad i didn't have to mess with that tonight.

    Thanks, Dpopps

Wow. Seafoam price went up quite a bit since last time i bought it.
Buy one get one 1/2 off, and it was still $18

Had a moment today when i started the generator for a quick maintenance run.
It was surging with the choke open.
I feared the worst, vaccuum leak, messed up carb...

The thing is plumbed in in my shed, so no just taking it the the small engine guy without tearing that apart.

So i put some seafoam in the tank.
It had some already, but the tank has been full for a long time.
Thing has baffles, and i can't shiphon it out, so i just slowly cycle new gas in.

Before i started it, i worked the gas valve back and forth a bit.
No idea if that was what did it, but as soon as i started it, it worked fine.

For a while there though, with the stove motor going out yesterday, it seemed like everything had decided to start falling apart.
We'll see how tomorrow goes. :D
