Yeah, it was about 70° at work yesterday. .

Woke up to 28° and snow. . :hair:

I'm so over this winter. Starting my last wood fire of the year (I hope) :) Gonna be 25° tonight. That means the Fahrenheit will be running. Probably fire it up in an hour or so. The Enerzone was just shutting down when I walked in. I only have 5 bags of pellets left.... :( This winter has to let up... Soon. :headbang:

    ha!

blame my wife. she's up in Akron visiting her family. my sister in law asked her what she wanted for her birthday (today) she said "snow" she was joking. she sent me a text this morning of the snow falling. I suspect my sister in law is gonna strangle her.

as for down here in the Old Dominion, loaded the PAH and fired her off this afternoon as the outside temps dropped from the high 60's this morning to what is now 40 and dropping , supposed to be a freeze warning tonight. stove running flawlessly as I had just last weekend done my "put her away for the summer" cleaning, rolled out on the deck , blew it out tore it down , re-gasketed the unit (was due for changing all the original gaskets after 5 seasons, some had been changed before now)

at least this will just be for a two bag run so a simple cleanout will have her ready to sleep off the summer

Yesterday morning I had to go dig out the ditch in front of the house (basement drains run to the ditch, and the outlet gets plugged with leaves and crap over the winter). There was still snow in the ditch which made it even more fun. At 6:45 AM it was 63 degrees with horizontal rain. When I finished around 7:30 AM it was down to 52. When I got to work at 9 AM it was 41. Quick temp drop. Last night it got to 23 and we had a couple inches of snow. The pellet furnace is running. Again. I was hoping I wouldn't need it anymore.

The house tried to do its impression of Noah's Ark and float down the hill yesterday, but the pump downstairs has been keeping up.

Temp dropped big time overnight and woke to a coating of snow, but stove is still off since Sunday. I definitely will be starting it when I get home tonight. This morning was OK upstairs, but the basement was real chilly. I'm sure that chill made its way upstairs by now.

We had 3" of snow and ice about an inch thick on the roads this morning. Our town crew wasn't ready for it and my trip down the hill was white knuckled. Once I got to the state roads all was not too bad. Made it to work on time. Missed enough days this winter, Got to save as many as I can for good weather!

By the time we got out of work all was almost melted except for the shady area's. Flowers looked Ok and didn't seem to be harmed. Spring has returned, But tonight is supposed to be freekin cold, Stove back on high/low again!

Similar to what Jay said above, but we only had about 1" of snow, and the only ice was on the cold wood deck steps. Weird weather, for sure. Stove did some on-off over night, and is running now.......:fire: Getting down to about 28℉ tonight. BRRRR
