Started browsing the forum again for the season a month ago or so and glad to be back. Hope everyone is doing well and ready for another burning season.

Been busy like most of you. Had our second son last Monday, trying to spend time with him and our first born. Also trying to use this time off of work to get everything ready for the winter. Got some wood brought up the other day, still have to bring 2 more face cords up. Also put away all the yard crap.

I know everyone always says kids grow up so fast and I never really appreciated that until this week when my 2 year old was out helping me stack wood. I mean I remember him being a newborn just yesterday and now he’s helping stack wood, crazy!

Here’s the wood I brought up. Gus was not happy I made him sit for a photo. There was some seriously good mouse hunting going on that night.

It was pouring rain and dark, wife and I even think newborn kid thought I was nuts but hey, who’s gonna pass up free maple already cut just waiting on the side of the road?

Not only a fellow hoarder but a fellow cyclist as well. I can see the fork mounts on the bed rail below the rear window. What year Tacoma is that? Mine is a '12 and silver too.

    Nice catch on the maple!:salute:

Truck is a ‘07. Just hit 110,000. Had it since ‘09, other than regular wear items and one wheel bearing I’ve had zero issues. Actually brought a ‘17 Tundra home for the night a month back but just don’t want a truck payment right now. Dealer made it tempting though, I was shocked what they were going to give me for a almost 12 year old truck. The fork mounts are great. Had a tailgate pad before but this is way better.

Thing gets used like a truck should, I have nothing bad to say about it. Frame is still solid too which is the only weak point. You think Toyota would of learned after the massive buy back of the first gen Tacoma’s.

Any of you ever think about Toyotos use of the abrevation on the side of so many of their trucks.

    TRD. LOL

Not in my drive way because of me.
