The rain stopped but the wind is still howling decided to split some wood at 430 before it starts getting dark .

Gotta do as much as I can because all the rain this year slowed me down. It's the perfect weather to be outdoors , I see your busy with the hickory

Totally understand. We didn't have it to bad with the rain, but the heat was brutal. I usually do most of my cutting on the weekends, and split during the week before work.

There are at least 3 hickory trees, I have 1 done and 1/2 another. Luckily the land owner isn't in a hurry.

The heat and the humidity were brutal here also. I try and do the same. I'm off sundays and Monday and usually go to work at noon so I try and cut and split every day at least one load before work and on my days off 3loads
