Well I was finally able to get what wood I have left from the move stacked onto my new driveway this weekend. I had 15 cords CCS at my old house and ended up having to leave almost 7 cords behind when I sold it :(. I moved 8 cords to the new house over this winter and burned thru 4 cords at the new house so I'm down to 4 cords CSS for next year :headbang:. I've had it all stacked either on my porch or left it in my trailer all winter waiting for the gravel drive back to the barn to get done. The weather finally cooperated this past week and I finally have a place to stack my wood so I took full advantage of the nice weekend and got it all stacked! Now I'm getting excited to build my wood wall back up again. Hoping to have 10 cords stacked by the end of the year :axe:

Here's some pics of the wood stacked under the porch

The right 2 cords are sugar maple and the left half cord is mainly locust with some ash, sugar maple, mulberry and some elm mixed in

Thanks LP! It almost felt like leaving children behind but I just didn't have the time or means to get it all moved. Oh well, I got ahead once... I'll do it again

Great looking place!! It's good you got some of your wood moved to the new house. Gives you a start for this year. Gives your other wood at least 2 years. Which is farther ahead than most people (not here) :)

I know what you mean by leaving the wood behind. It's a weird feeling

    Very nice
Good planning with the driveway/wood stacking area.
A double row stack of wood on pallets all the way down that driveway ,
should get you a few years ahead :)

    Nice place & pictures.

Great looking place you have there! That's a lot of stacking or should I say re-stacking! I like your garage set way back too.

I gotta ask - What the heck is the beam structure in the background? Some colossal swingset? or meat processing hanger?
