Boy, we just had a good one. My wife was digging in the freezer and suddenly asked me who gave us some picnic hams. What? No name or anything. However after thinking for a bit it does seem I remember someone giving her the hams. Perhaps someone at our gtg. I hope the name will come to me...

The wind has picked up here. Gust of up to 50 MPH are predicted. Leaves are flying everywhere. Glad I don't have piles raked up.

Wow, already some positive movement on the house :) Seller talked to a lawyer, letter of refusal to accept lowball offer sent. He is not under contract with his realtor, (broker fee only) and she has changed her tune. Fingers and toes crossed:)

Trembling with excitement! I't in town by stores and doctors, still in kiddos school boundries. 1940 cabin will stay there till we can put a modular or manufactured home on it, after WWW's work situation gets worked out. There's TREES, city tap water, city sewer, and I believe natural gas.

Had to patch up my gas tank again.....uncle is still trying to sell his 1994 Chevy and his 2014 GMC he's only had about 2 months. If the gmc was a long box, they'd make a great work truck/nice weather toy pair. Unfortunately I can't afford either.

Well, been several weeks now without frequently losing our water. it's gone out a time or 2, but that's way better than more or less daily.

If the road conditions would hinder fire or ambulance access, that's a big problem.

Was planning on deer hunting this morning but woke up to a wicked bad headache. Got a little done in the closet...helped my BIL install 2 overhead door and a roll up door ..then hunted a little this evening. Saw a lot of deer but no good shots. Going back out in the morning.

Not sure I'm gonna have the energy/ambition to do what I wanted today. Woke up with stomach pains at 12:30. Body wasnt sure which evacuation point was more critical. Lost an hours sleep to that fun, then the little one decided to join us in bed and kicked the crap out of me for the rest of the night.
