The Centuar is pretty cool! Awesome heirloom and an awsome peice of family history.

A labor of love. It's better than chainsaw collecting.

I just about wrapped up my 80% "restoration to30. Put twice what I could buy one for into it. Took a month to re-do due to awful shipping times and shoddy companies. From junk carb kits to basic gaskets not even close to fitting...(yesterday's tractor sucks)

    Best worst investment ever.
Tires cost more than the tractor:rofl:

I'll be 68 this month and could not process and manage my firewood without my tractor.
I can move cords of wood on pallets easily in just a few minutes without killing myself.

The last 2 pics 0048 and 0049 are how I make portable roofs for some of my stacks.
Hot tub place near me discards 8x8 skids. I added plywood and metal roofing. Makes nice movable roofs for oak that sits for 3 years!

Mag Craft Backwoods Savage was the source of the inspiration for me to build the dray. It might keep wood a bit cleaner as I get it back to my processing area.

Really like that Ford. How many hours have you put on it? Was it made in the mid 80s?

    I have a 1989 Ford 1920 tractor with 2,780 hrs
Had 1300 hours on it when I bought it 10yrs ago.
Built like a tank and easy to work on.
Made a hardtop roof out of an old jeep CJ hardtop.
Changed pin on bucket to quick attach bobcat style for use of forks. best thing I ever did.
first pic is 2008. second is last year

Yes I knew that I saw your thread on It, but you built it and I think it is pretty slick.

Thanks. It took some work to get it back into half way decent shape to start using it again. I still have some leaks here and there and will tackle those a little at a time but it is ready for use.

Looking good! How do you like that Massey? I looked at the 2705e and 2706e a few weeks back and was impressed. Just got to pay off some bills now.:(

Some of it was, I was trying to support a "community" forum and save myself shipping.

Some of it like cast intake/exhaust manifold was nice...I ground off the cast label CHINA:rofl:  it fits looks excellent.
I had more trouble with American companies like the carb kits and the original stater is still sitting at a local shop that said a day two days max... that was after buying an unknown/built starter that dead out of the box... Then again some hard to find parts came from redneck eBay places that got here promptly:hair:

And just wait until you try that out this winter! You will be amazed at how much you can pull then.
