Infections can be insidious - seeming to be eradicated, but just a little bit left can eventually come back. Good luck!

It's confusing:confused:, might be infection, the timing does not make sense for infections although last time he did respond to antibiotics, she took some fluid/pus but can't see any bacteria, she sent the sample off for further bacteriological and histological analysis and lavaged the joint. It could be some sort of immune system mediated response that is just causing inflammation...we'll know more in a few days when the lab work comes back.

I'm sorry Dave, both seeing a pet ail and the wait for bloodwork is no fun for all involved.

I feel like an idiot, cannot figure out how to set this trap. Need to trap both the nasty coon that messed up a wildcat here as well as that cat to get him TNR'd for neuter, shots, vaccinations and worming etc. I had the opportunity today, got two females contained, WWW and kiddo went to town for trick or treating with a school friend, WWW brought in the trap for me. :headbang: Couldnt figure it out. Called, something about missing key rings. Wildcats pizzed off, dogs and our housecat upset, I let everybody out after a few hours. I'll try again, that poor guys elbows.

In the reviews, it doesn't look like you are the only one to have issues getting the thing set up.

They are growing so fast. Cute as can be. To think these would have been farrell had they not be rescued. So very important for kittens to be handled by humans. My three who were bone here are so much more friendly than their parents. I bought the parents from breeders. I don't think either one was handled like should have been. They are good with my wife but run from me. The kittens (now 3 years old) follow me around like a dog does.

Didn't your vet do a CBC. You would know within a few minutes if there was infection. Much worse when it becomes systemic. Hope the dog recovers soon. that happens to be my favorite in your group
