    Not necessarily Mike. Don't forget that I split wood without hydraulics for many, many moons so yes, I have split some of those gnarly pieces. Not fun but can be done. And I have never noodled.

    Dennis is Right and I have "BEAT" on pieces till my head wanted to explode! :headbang: I've only had a Hydraulic splitter now for about 3 years. But there comes to a point where you just say, "screw it" and noodle... I have and I'm not ashamed :emb::p. I can say one thing, "THANK GOD" for Hydraulics! :tears:

    Thank you EricB! We have a HUGE and I mean HUGE pile of trees and logs Nicks been cutting from when he’s not up in a tree. And... We DO NOT own a wood burner:eek::eek::eek: isn’t that crazy???!!! We are planning to put one in but haven’t gotten around to it yet (hangs head in shame) It’s definitely on the list lolll. We are in central Indiana amongst many city minded peoples yet out in the country.. we are misplaced but it works because said peoples NEED our services! :rofl: :lol::thumbs: I’m going to try and upload some pics haha wish me luck
