    Niiiice!
If this weather stays warm like this we aren’t going to need much higher BTU wood than maple or cherry, here.

Took Tuesday off, spent all day splitting wood and enjoying the weather. Next few days calls for rain, which began this morning.
Saturday is promising, so I plan to have my two helpers coming and learn how to build a round pile.

Amazing weather in October. Some heat at the start followed by wet and then cold and wind. Now many are seeing 60's and 70's. Many have seen snow already. We typically get a spattering of snow in October but none this year for us, which is okay. We've been stuck in the 50's. I see a couple days in the 40's coming but then right back into the 50's. Lord, I hope we don't see 70 here now!

Really strange weather. I'll take it for now. No bugs and no humidity is a plus for me.

Beautiful weather around here as well. I wish I could get out and do some wood cutting but I have to behave myself after cataract surgery a week ago. Everything is going well with the eye.

Ugh, SMH. Tomorrow night after work I am going to run and get the cord of elm I just laid down on Sunday afternoon before the snow comes. This will be our 3rd go around of snow already this year. I don't want to loose these under some snow because I am cutting a tree right next to the one I just cut and could see myself rolling an ankle or worse on a small round under the snow. 20181031_204753.png
